How I got interested in this field
');
document.write('My interest in conservation oriented issues goes back to high school and the first Earth Day. As a kid, I enjoyed outdoor recreation and later connected these values to an interest in doing science. My interest in the study of avian biology developed after taking Ornithology as an undergraduate and realizing that birds are fascinating.
