  • Dr. Morgan\'s research focuses on the question of how diverse communities come to understand and interact with the environments in which they live. This research agenda draws together investigations of culture, communication, and environment to yield deeper understandings of cultural discourses of environment. Another key aspect of Dr. Morgan\'s research agenda is focused on how science is communicated to broad audiences. Dr. Morgan will also soon serve as the Graduate Program Coordinator for the ALEC program in the College of ACES.

  • Dr. Rosch explores ways to help high school and college students develop leadership skills to help set them apart from their peers and distinguish themselves as future leaders in the job market.   • Dr. Jenn Smist teaches foundational leadership courses to help students develop their individual capacity to address complex challenges and achieve their potential as emerging leaders. Dr. Smist coordinates the campus-wide Minor in Leadership Studies. She also oversees ALEC 393 for students earning academic credit for internships in agricultural leadership, education, and communications. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Smist serves as an undergraduate recruitment coordinator for prospective students to learn more about the ALEC program.
